Okay, I can see there is major of interest in the subject of OpenOCD-BOX, this is good, thanks :-)
As there seems to be plenty of hardware solutions, I think we should invent one common buffer design to be applied on any GPIO and allow JTAG, SWD, SPI, I2C, 1Wire, etc using common signal definitions. We should design such buffer as separate module to be applied on different hardware solutions, so we have common signals across different solutions, and probably extremely cheap adapter board. Each openocd-box solution will have its own GPIO drivers but signals will be common among them and this will help maintenance and compatibility even in case of different hardware.. Buffer should allow to input/output/tristate lines connected to a target device and shift voltage levels safely between interface hardware and target system - {1.8, .., 5V} would be fine..? Something as presented in KT-LINK, maybe this design can be reused with author permission..? Anyone has experience in such designs and want to take the challenge? :-) I have received Carambolla today, but I will have time to play with it with start of July, until then its hell on earth for me :-( Best regards! :-) Tomek Cedro -- CeDeROM, SQ7MHZ, http://www.tomek.cedro.info ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
