You beat me to it. I was thinking the exact same thing today. :)

I'm open to anywhere in Europe and October sounds fine. I could probably
host it here in Göteorg, Sweden if no one else steps up, but as has been
discussed earlier, we only have one OpenRISC conference, so it could be
nice to move it around a bit.

Teaming up with other conferences could be nice, as it might help finding a
venue, but not critical. Preferably we should look at conferences that have
a focus on things that are somewhat like what we are doing to get the most
interested crowd. Some quick ideas:

Open Hardware Summit (http://2013.oshwa.org/), New York, September 6. A bit
too early, a bit far away from the civilized world, quite small as I
understand it
Linux Plumbers Conference (http://www.linuxplumbersconf.org/2013/), New
Orleans, September 18-20. Even further away from most European based
OpenRISCers
Then there is a plethora of embedded conferences with a more commercial
approach. It might be better to list potential partners on the wiki instead
of here.
