In other words we can consider one of the following options that eliminates
avoidable complexity of appliers or adding new calbacks:
Option A)
For network name - Use environment variable to read the network name. This
variable can be introduced in an appropriate file (say nid.conf or clmd.conf).
For node_name - Read from MDS (#1522) the node_name
Option B)
For network name - Introduce new attribute in clm cluster object. Also add a
new environment variable (say in nid.conf or clmd.conf). The value of this
environment variable is automatically set when generating the imm.xml. For eg:-
the immxml tools read the value of this attribute in the clmsv_objects.xml and
automatically writes the value in the corresponding .conf file
For node name - Read from MDS (#1522) the node_name.

Add the possibility to show network name and CLM node name or node id as an
extension of the already existing way of showing the origin of a log record.
For a detailed description of what to implement see the attached .odt document.
To show/document how this can be implemented the ticket will be complimented
with a series of prototype patches that will be attached when ready
