Hi again, ok, the copyright point is clear to me... After finishing my MFC integration for OpenSG this weekend I'll start changing some of my IO classes for using them with OpenSG. I think adding them directly to OpenSG will be the better solution at the moment....

I think you should be able to combine GPL and LGPL parts as long as the results obeys the stronger license, GPL in this case. For OpenSG the problem is that we want to keep the core under LGPL so using the X3DSDK as a must have in order to run OpenSG is not possible for us.
