This sounds interesting. But what are the requirements with respect to
the OpenGL driver and the graphic card?
Say, can I use FBOViewport with an OpenGL 1.4 environment? Aside of
that, is the FBOViewport supported by 
OpenSG 1.8 or ony by 2.0. Should I use 2.0 at all?

Probably, I have to ask more detail questions about the FBOViewport. But
first I will dive into the docs + source
to see how far I can go.
