It also appears that I don't have access to the correct texture coordinate
values in the GLSL shader on ATI cards. Maybe ATI doesn't support
the compatibility mode of getting the texture coordinates in the vertex
shaders using gl_TexCoord since it was deprecated in GLSL 1.30.
