It's still a bit rough, but for linux http://hwios.org/browser/teknon may be interesting. It's a twisted-based subprocess client-server proxy(whatever that may mean) that let's you control services from multiple hosts on one centralized console. It's still a bit rough and uncomplete, but most stuff should work already. It's going to have a web-bridge as well, so remote web consoles through websockets should be possible then.
