Martin, if you have nothing useful to add, then please butt out. If you think we're being harsh on the ksh93 project's ARC case, then that can only be because you've never seen any other ARC cases. This bickering over details like this in cases of this size is the norm and not an exception. In the absence of previous experience, I can see how you can misconstrue this as "resistance against ksh93" or perhaps even "personal attack on Roland". And if you've worked long and hard on a project then you sometimes "become" the project. The ARC is here to look from a bigger distance at projects and examine the overall picture. And the bigger picture is simply this: all shells in Solaris live in /usr except for /sbin/sh which is used for the very early bootstrap process. Ergo, we see no reason to make ksh93 live in /sbin. None of the arguments have swayed us so far and James explained that arguments prefixed with "in the future we may" are best dealt with in future ARC cases when things may be moved around if the need arises. If not, then this case would open the doors for "but his ksh93 is in /sbin, I want my bash/zsh/tcsh there too". Casper
