What is the overall architecture here? Is there an Alcoholic Beverage
umbrella project, or did I miss it?

Because let's face it, without wine(1) I think this case is woefully
incomplete. And make sure to include the --red, --white, --ros?,
--varietal=VARIETAL, and other important options. This being FOSS we'll
just have to accept GNU-style long options and to -hiccup- hell with the
CLIP.

    someday folks.

Think how much easier it will be to add new options to tar(1) and
star(1)! once we are free to use any character from the Unicode
repertoire, though we should initially limit ourselves to ISO-8859-1
characters that can be represented in the largest number of locales.
