Thanks for this information. Is this only related to input devices? I am still interested in creating a framework that allows to correctly deal with all possible constraints with CD/DVD/BD writing (even appending to a multi session media that requires to be able to do a forced unmount of the medium that is going to be appended. Do you have any idea where the right channel for discussions regarding this topic may be?
