Effectively, yes. The compiler team will only sell support contracts for and support customers using Studio 10 on releases older than Nevada - on Nevada, it's unsupported. If you check the support matrix on: http://developers.sun.com/sunstudio/support/matrix/index.jsp and compare against the Solaris CBE versions, you may notice that no version of Studio is supported on a release newer than one which was built with a newer CBE. (For instance, most of Solaris 10 was built with Studio 8, and Studio 7 is only supported on Solaris 9 and earlier.) [That said, it surprised me and at least a few others when this came up and was discussed internally over the last few weeks, which is why I mentioned it here as something we should be more aware of, instead of sweeping it under the rug as not important to worry about.] -- -Alan Coopersmith- [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Microsystems, Inc. - X Window System Engineering _______________________________________________ opensolaris-code mailing list opensolaris-code@opensolaris.org http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/opensolaris-code
