The key will be in getting the core libs into a common location. The more that 
is built, the more libs are required, when those all become "their own" so to 
speak is when we have problems.

In theory we should be able to have a common set of libs for all to use. In 
the rare case that a package needs an off version to run, then they should 
add their own, but only in special cases and the goal should be for all to 
bring it back to the common libs when possible.
