The nVidia drivers include OpenGL for nVidia cards - we're still
working to incorporate them directly into Solaris, so for now you
have to download from nvidia.com or sun.com.
Solaris also includes the Mesa open-source clone of OpenGL for
use on other cards - currently with no hardware acceleration,
but with DRI coming soon to provide hardware acceleration for
Intel i9xx chipsets initially, with ATI Radeon planned for next
year. (Dates listed are for Solaris Express/Nevada integration.
I don't know if/when they would be backported to Solaris 10.)
