Jim, thank you for laying out the "big picture" with some history also. Often times the techies get caught up in the blades of grass and totally miss the fact that we cleared the field of rocks and stumps, plowed it, worked it with bare hands and are now in the middle of it. So it takes some time to reap a crop. Okay. No one said this was going to be easy. At this point I think that Bryan C. laid out the clearest thinking, create a prototype and then hold it up and say "see, here is something we grew". Personally I am leaning towards BeleniX with all the Blastwave software bolted in because ALL of that happened with community people. Just my thoughts.
