They were buggy at one time, but that was a few years ago. I've not had any 
problems with the 2 I've got, and they are relatively old.

I would agree with the comments about the Via chipsets to an extent. Older Via 
chipsets are known to be buggy, and the newer ones I would not consider except 
for in a basic cheap PC.
