Perhaps we all just get along better in the graphics world, but the
Linux guys are very careful to make sure the DRI code in their kernel
stays dual licensed GPL & BSD so it can be shared with BSD & Solaris - we
just got the ATI graphics DRM (Direct Rendering, not Digital Restrictions)
in nv_88 that was mostly developed by Linux guys (the primary
maintainer works at Red Hat), due to this.
