With cpupm in event-mode, the fan on my Lenovo T61 definitely kicks in more often, I just tried browsing for 15-20 minutes with different modes, in poll mode during this time the fan kicked in just once, while in event-mode it kicked in at least 7 times. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list [email protected]
