Hi Jörg,

You do have a special talent of forking a thread and sending it to a 
never-never land.  :-)

This issue is critically important (so many people are working their butt out, 
it will be very pathetic see their--or I should say, "our"--efforts go down the 
toilet because of a stupid mistake such as this).

As I mentioned in my original post, what's more pathetic is that this problem 
is very easily solvable.  Just locate the config file, delete the offending 
entry.  Voila!

But it is easier said than done.  We need: (1) the relevant documentation to 
know which file is involved, and (2) the will to go through the political 
labyrinthine so that the fix can be timely elevated.

Well, what else is new?
