Pentium D if my knowledge is correct is still a 32bit CPU which is fine but because is D series may not have certain things needed inside the CPU itself to handle OpenSolaris....... PIII is definitely not supported for example! Any modern DualCore or Core2Duo or Quad Core Intel is fine, am using it on laptop with C2D Centrino2 is really great. Or Xeons and the other Intel being I9 or whatever it is (sorry can never remember x86 stuff). Regards, Kaya
