These informational messages appears because you have not configured
a DNS server that knows the name of your solaris machine.
Sendmail needs a working and correctly configured DNS server to wor
properly.

Which Graphics CARD/chipset do you have ?
what does
# /usr/X11/bin/scanpci
tell you about the graphics card. Vendor code ? PCI ID ?
