Hi, Yes you are supposed to se Solaris 11, SXDE is supposed to be released
as Solaris 11
some day in the future.

I did a Xorg config run myself and it looks like xorgconfig adds an extra
"section device" which contains a standard VGA definition. You dont need
this, the only Section "Device" you need in your xorg.conf is what I
copied below.
The error in the log file is that the VGA driver does not support 24 bit
screens.
This looks to be an error in the xorgconfig program.

laptopscreen with a 1280x800x60 modeline.
Note that the identifiers for Monitor and Device are referenced in the Section
Screen.
