...using either 1.6.4, 1.6.6, or 2.0.2 of VirtualBox. Boots, enters the graphical environment, but the installer stops making progress at 2 to 3 % of preparing the disk, although VirtualBox continues to consume CPU. Either 512MB or 768MB assigned to the VM, 16GB dynamic vdi file. Host disk space ok, but can't do much more for memory with only 1GB currently in the Mac. Be awhile before I get to adding more RAM (2GB max officially, but 3GB is possible; best as matched 2x2GB, even if 1GB of that would be unusable).
Mac Mini Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz, MacOS 10.5.5, fully up to date. Suggestions? Or maybe a pre-installed .vdi file to download? SPARC I know, inside and out, but x86, esp. on VirtualBox, not so much, and Indiana not at all. Figure I've got to keep up somehow... -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
