This nvclock thing sounds interesting. Maybe you could work on porting the source code over to Solaris and then eventually get a package for it hosted at an IPS repository like www.lifewithsolaris.jp or www.blastwave.org/
I wouldn't be the guy to help you do this though, as I don't even own any machines with nvidia cards in them. Maybe you can apply for a sponsor (so you can submit code to the repository) and ask that your sponsor be one of the guys from Sun who works on the nvidia drivers. I don't know how it will work out or even if it will work, but it's worth a try. If you have trouble getting it to work in OpenSolaris Indiana, you might try first testing it out by trying to incorporate it into a different OpenSolaris distro like Belenix.
