These are two things that I absolutely need to do. I have installed realplayer, but it does not work. Realplayer runs, but as soon as I try to load a file, I get the error message: "Cannot open the audio device. Another application may be using it." I am also getting core dumps. I tried setting all permissions to 777 - that did not help. Of course, none of the stuff that came with opensolaris, like totem, will work - no codecs. I am using realplay 10.0.6.1358. I am created a subdirectory off my home directory, named the directory realplayer, I am trying to run realplayer from there.
I can not find any chm reader. I found another post that explained how to install xchm with pkg_get, but that does not work. I get a "no catalog found" error message. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
