No I don't have an on board graphic adapter. I have an NVIDIA graphic card, since I knew Sun has pretty good drivers for these adapters. Do you also experience that when shutting down the machine, that after the last step it stops but does not power off? Well sometimes it does, however these occasions are rare.
Another thing to mention: on my Asus motherboard Solaris 10 always worked perfectly and was the only OS I have never required rebooting. Until I did the last upgrade (10/08) it didn't boot anymore, even not in single user mode. SXCE still works but suffers from the issues as OpenSolaris (slow start up). -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
