Thanks for your reply! However, I'm a little confused... The open bug you linked to has been closed and is instead tracked as bug 6819157 on bugs.opensolaris.org. This bug is in turn reported a duplicate of 6732963 and thus closed.
The description of bug 6732963 is "Need support for Broadcom's BCM43xx WiFi chipset". Does this mean that the problem I'm having is caused by missing support for the WiFi card? Is there a workaround for this if I don't need WiFi? Also, the status of bug 6732963 is "4-Defer:Future Project (Accepted, but the fix may not be made soon.)". Does this mean that I won't be able to run OpenSolaris on my HP 6735s in the nearest future? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
