.hqx & .dmg files are for MacOS, not OpenSolaris or Solaris.

MacOS, like Windows, and Linux, is a different operating system,
and most applications for MacOS are not going to work on systems that
aren't MacOS.   If they are written using platform indepenendent
technology, like Java, they may work, but if you want to run an
OpenSolaris application you need to search for applications that
say they're built for Solaris or OpenSolaris, not MacOS.
