hello ggendel, thanks for replying to my inquiry. but i think you didn't get my point. i will try to explain it more. for example, you had given me a website to install the flash player. it is ok, but it is not my problem that i am facing. i am facing the problem when i need to install the flash player, not when i need to download it. i had download the flash player and other applications successfully, but i could not install any of them because it is saying that there is no application which can support these extensions.
i will tell you the problem in another way: (for example) if you are working on microsoft windows, any windows. and you want to open a PDF file. you cannot open the PDF file except if you have the adobe reader or writer installed on your computer. correct? that is my problem i had succeeded to install opensolaris os on my laptop, but further than that i could not go. i need to install a lot of application to use it, like msn massenger and google talk, open office ..... that is my problem with the compatibility of softwares. sorry for disturbing, and thank you very much, regards -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
