Mikael,

As Alan has pointed out: there is no radeon dri for OpenSolaris until
someone ports the kernel driver.
I have the same card and discern no 'big' gains between radeon/radeonhd,
although anecdotally radeonhd seems somewhat smoother.

So, in a nutshell... this is as good as it gets until _someone_ ports radeon
dri to the Solaris kernel. Hope this clarifies it for you.
