Thanks for your input Steven! So, you're saying that DRI is needed for Gnome (or Xorg) to run smoothly, and reading between the lines you're also saying that kernel drivers don't grow on trees... am I right?
I've read a little about NDIS. Are there any corresponding options for video? If not, how come? / Mikael Ps. Thank you guys for helping out!
