What you said makes sense. Yes, internet was working fine BEFORE I could get
sound working, but now it is on and off all the time. So, I'm going to try your
suggestions. But my Ethernet card is in a PCI slot already (I don't have PCI-E
on my PC). I would have to set the IRQ manually, but I don't know how to do
that.
My motherboard has an on-board NIC which needs the nfo driver. I've tried
several times installing this driver without success. I've read that SXED has
auto network configuration capabilities. If I could get the on-board NIC to
work, that would be the best solution. But how do I do that?
