Yes in regards to the Caps Lock key turning the Caps Lock light on, signs of 
life!  I have my laptop with Open and running Open Solaris right next to the 
system that is not working correctly.  SSH stands for Secure Shell Protocol, 
thats about all I know it as I am still pretty new to Solaris/Unix.
