After testing Open Solaris on my laptop and liking it. I decided to go ahead
and install it on my desktop PC via the external Maxtor hard drive. When
booting up everything seems fine until the end of the boot when all I get is
the blue background on my screen. No Solaris wording, no top/bottom menu and
no cursor/mouse prompt. I have installed it twice and keep getting the same
results. Its an Acer desktop with an Intel Core 2 processor and ATI/Radeon
graphics chip. Any insights will be appreciated, as I would like to use this
