Hi , I think you are overreacting just a tad here. the problem with
networking is
usually that there is problem with hardware detection and NIC driver
availbility.
And you need to understand that the SolarisExpress distributions are
Development snapshots , eg Alpha and Beta code, not a finished shrinkwrapped
product.
As I wrote in the thread just prevoius to yours , Do you know which
Realtek Chip
you have see:

Please run a scanpci command so we can find out which chipset you need
a driver for.
