Hi,
Well something is wrong on the IDE bus.
I would start with making sure that there is a high speed
80-pin IDE cable that can run at UDMA-100 or UDMA-133
in the machine.
If there is an old 40 pin IDE cable or if the cable is damaged
your errors is not surprising.
If you change the cable and the errors are still present then
there is not alot of things to to do. Then either the DIsk or
motherboard
has a noncritcal fault.
Does the motherboard BIOS contain any options for configuring which
UDMA speed to use to the disk ?
