Hi Richard, Since I suppose most homes now have cable boxes, a more pertinent question, which IMHO actually should be much easier to solve for Solaris-DVR-wannabes, is to address a two-part question:
1. Do we have Solaris driver(s) available for (any) video input card (i.e., no need for a TV "turner", but a video analog-to-digital converter); and 2. Do we have Solaris driver(s) for the so-called IR blasters? See, e.g.: http://store.snapstream.com/usb-uirt.html Any thoughts on this? Thanks. > > Hi guys. > > Does anybody know whether it is possible to make a > TV > > tuner work under Solaris Express? > > Thanks. > > Maybe kinda sorta.
