I was able to compile and run, and yes, eventually watch tv with the mentioned software on X86. With Nevada, about a year ago. This shouldn't have changed eversince, as bt8x8 hasn't been updated for a while... :( So unless there have been changes in Nevada that impacted this code, it should be "compilalble", and should work. No overlay though, and the UI isn't very sophisticated, but it did (does) have basic stuff. I had at that time an Intel 865-based board, 1G RAM, 3.2 GHz (64 bit capable) celeron, and the Nevada release from about a year ago (it was around ~59-64). To kernel was 64-bit. So, all in all, it _might_ work, I haven't checked it eversince. Maybe it's high time to do this :) ...and if someone would pick up that project, and maybe added a few extras, well, that would be fantastic!!! I, myself am not a programmer, unfortunatelly, but I do have quite an experience in testing, building, and - to some extent - debugging, so I would gladly participate, and help in such a project! :)
