Hi, I have also tried to boot from the OSol snv134 CD and it didn't work on eiher a Xserve3,1 and 2,1. On the other hand the very same CD just boots fine on a MacPro1,1.
Since the screen doesn't come to live at any time while the boot loader starts up, it's quite hard to guess what it is, that halts the boot process and that was when I gave up trying, although I am thinking that it's a compatibility issue with some hardware or maybe the efi that is installed on the Xserves. If I could get some output of any kin, one might be able to dig deeper into this, but atm I am lost.
