When I tried to boot my Xserves from the snv134 boot CD, it didn't make any difference wheter I tried the internal drive or a USB external one - the result was always the same.
I think I also tried the former Sun hardware detection tool on one of my Xserves and it showed mostly all green except for some minor devices that shouldn't hinder the boot process. I just wanted to try that again, but Oracle will not allow me to download the jnlp anymore. :( So it seems that we're stuck here, unless we can get the screen to light up and show some info as of why the boot process stalls and finally switches to boot from the internal hd. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-help mailing list opensolaris-help@opensolaris.org
