I installed Solaris 11 Express on my old Ultra 5. The installation went smoothly, but without X or any desktop environment. Since then I've been trying to get an X server and gnome running, but to no avail.
In frustration, I gone so far as installing every package which matched "*xorg*" and "*gnome*", but to no avail. Are there a couple of meta-packages, I should be installing. If not, how about a good HOWTO? Should I really be running Solaris 10? Thanks...
