Thanks for your mail Todd and trying to help me out. I have tried sax2 -r the displayes goes blank with some console messages and comes back finally to "SaX2 : X11 Configuration" after that no matter what resolution I choose it is always fixed to 800x600 54 Hz.
If I did something wrong, please let me know.
