great! Personally I am not a gentoo user and not too experienced with this. But I know many people out there are using and I will do anything to support them. So, in order to make people interested in OpenVAS better aware there is gentoo support , what can we do? - at least under "Readily available installation packages" at http://www.openvas.org/openvas-server.html we could add some text how to get openvas working on gentoo. Since I feel not able to write a adequate info myself, would anyone volunteer to send a short description? BTW, the website is available from SVN under doc/website. But a simple text would even be enough. - commit base files for gentoo building into the openvas SVN? I am not sure about how this is usually handled with gentoo. If it does make sense or make life easier, I'd like to add things to the repository. - what else?
