this sounds great. Yes, please provide me with the OVAL definitions.
I guess though it should be possible to create them on my own with the python
converter but a quick impression of the result is helpful.

Are there any (written) plans how or when DSA will more explicitly be 
published in OVAL form?

I envision a mostly automatic procedure to quickly produce OpenVAS NVTs
for newly published  DSAs.
