Some distros don't use /etc/environment or /etc/profile for sudo or root. To
get around this, you can add to /etc/bash.bashrc:

export PATH="${PATH}:/usr/local/rvm/bin"
export PATH="${PATH}:/usr/local/share/nikto"
export PATH="${PATH}:/usr/share/wapiti"

I’m running OV 6 on Ubuntu.
In my reports I have this sort of info:

Arachni could not be found in your system path.
Please make sure that Arachni is installed and that arachni is
available in the PATH variable defined for your environment.
I get this for a couple of others…Nikto and DirB
I have manually installed all 3 of these and added them into the PATH
(/etc/environment)
And can run them from the cli.
I still get these messages. Is there some trick to this?
Please be kind in your response…I’m old and slow…
