My problem is that I'm not that deep into the code basis as you all,
so not all things that appears odd to me are really bugs. And IRC is
a nice solution if one needs a quick answer if he is completely lost
- as I am most times ;)
Heh.
My aim is to first check if the direction is correct, then do some
mailing on the list +debugging and hacking and finally write a nice
new Jiraffe.
For example: yesterday I was trying to improve the XMLFieldTest and
I simply wasn't sure if I did use the Manager the wrong way or if
the factory doesn't work. Gurkan helped me a lot by pointing the
right direction in IRC last night.
Glad you got your answer and that sounds fine to me. I'm not arguing
against IRC. I'm simply pointing out things to watch out for from a
community perspective... I'll join the IRC channel and try to keep an
eye on things. I'll shout if I start to see anything troubling...
