What I am unsure about: is
echo '2357 9000 ff' > /sys/bus/usb-serial/drivers/option1/new_id
still needed? How would I issue that? procd in some
/etc/hotplug.d/21-usb3gwan? Does this still work this way?
I grepped through the code of rc3 (w/o) feeds, but could not find this
vendor and product id.
Where could I find this?
BTW: on ubuntu 14.04 after update-usbids I cannot find this id either?
