I'll get my MA260 back for testing in the 2nd week of October. If someone
else, who has more experience with json-style modswitching could have a
look at it, that would be of great help.
Regarding patches to the usb_modeswitch developers:
Plain usb_modeswitch does not use json? So the workaround was already
described in the link above:
http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/recipes/3gdongle?s[]=ma260 and there are
references to other contributors.
Feel free to report the devs this solution, so they can integrate it into
their udev collection.
