Dear Markus,

I re-checked out the sources from SVN as a normal user, previously as
a root user, and run the make menuconfig from backfire directory. I am
able to see Intel IXP4XX in the Target System menu. I selected the
Intel IXP4XX as a Target System and some other packages and saved to
.config and exit.
