Yes, it is indeed installed but it appears to only contain three locales (en_GB, de_DE, and ru_RU). My locale is neither of these three. Having never had to fiddle with locales before I will have to do some research as to how to fix this. If anyone knows, I would appreciate any pointers. I'll let you know when I figure it out.
