Hi Oliver, Early this week I has exchanged several private messages with Sergey Z. and notified him that:
- At the moment I am working on freebsd port for oxi ver. 1.2. On the way I have no problem, just need to perform this job tidy and accurately, and observe quite a few of freebsd standards and procedures. - oxi distribution as it is does not install and work on freebsd. It is my job (as being a maintainer of the port) to ensure that port for oxi installs and runs on freebsd. - I can not discuss my unfinished job before it is published for open public test and use. As you see Sergey Z. is way too impatient. Although he has notified me about his zero perl experience, he wants everything working by itself and immediately. Sergey Z., Let me suggest that you wait for freebsd port for oxi 1.2 to come out. After that we all could easily separate problems related to freebsd, from problems related to unix in general, from problems related to oxi code and design, and from problems related to oxi configuration.
